Kristof Vliegen (ATP 74) s'est qualifié pour le second tour du tournoi de Roland Garros en battant le Thaïlandais Danai Udomchoke (ATP 103), en trois sets, 6-2, 6-4, 6-3, en 1h37 minutes, mardi à Paris. Christophe Rochus, quant à lui, a du abandonner sa rencontre face à Koubek (7-6, 6-7, 4-6, ab.).
