Whereas everybody is interested in results in the US Open for the fourth and last tournament of the Grand Slam, Nicolas Devilder is still in race on the clay court in Brasov. Winner in three sets (7-6, 1-6, 6-2) against the Italian player Frederico Torresi, he will face the Argentian player Maximo Gonzalez, seeded n°6, in quarterfinals.
